生地について(日本製セルヴィッチキャンバス)
倉敷・児島で長年使われてきた「シャットル織機」で織られた6号帆布（セルヴィッチ耳付）は、高密度な打ち込みにより凹凸のあるふっくらとした風合いが特徴的。耐久性とコシに優れ、使い込んでもへたりにくい生地です。
この帆布は、職人が気温や湿度に応じて織機を調整しながら1日50mほどしか織れない希少な素材で、シャットルの往復運動により美しいセルヴィッチ（耳）が生まれます。

About the Fabric (Japanese Selvedge Canvas)
This No.6 selvedge canvas is woven in Kurashiki, Kojima, using traditional shuttle looms that have been in use for decades. The high-density weave creates a uniquely textured, soft yet structured fabric with a rich, dimensional feel. It is known for its exceptional durability and firmness, maintaining its shape even after extended use.

Because shuttle looms weave fabric by sending the shuttle back and forth, they naturally produce clean, tightly finished selvedge edges. The weaving process requires careful adjustments to temperature and humidity, and skilled artisans can produce only around 50 meters per day—making this canvas a rare and premium material.
